We advance statistical genetics and genomics to generate insights that accelerate genetic discovery and enable precision breeding, health, and management across species, in collaboration with breeding industries and applied genetic programs. We develop cutting-edge statistical, machine learning, and computational methods for genomic prediction, fine-mapping, and integrative multi-omics analyses. Our work leverages sequence-level data, large-scale population datasets, and emerging phenotyping technologies to uncover the biological basis of complex traits and improve prediction. We build high-performance, scalable software and analytical pipelines to support complex data and ensure reproducible, efficient genetic analyses for research and breeding. We design and optimize HPC solutions and cloud-ready workflows capable of handling population-scale data and advanced machine learning models.
