Integrative genomics

Several large-scale molecular phenotypes lie between the genotype and the economically important phenotypes. Methods, which can either analyze these phenotypes and the genotypic information in combination, or integrate results from these techniques in genomic models, can improve knowledge on the genetic and biological background of complex traits. In addition, IG can improve our models for prediction of individual genetic merit and phenotype.

The IG team discuss different strategies of integrative genomics with the aim of

  • Sharing current knowledge on IG methods and models in QGG
  • Getting/giving feedback on methods and models
  • Identifying new methods that we should include in the QGG IG tool box
  • Developing new IG projects
