Palle Duun Rohde wins prize for outstanding poster

PhD student at QGG Palle Duun Rohde won the Zeiss Poster Prize Award at the annual NeuroScience Day hosted by Aarhus University 2 May.

The poster is a presentation of the results of Palle Duun Rohde's and his colleagues' research in the genetic basis of individuals' response to treatment with the drug Methylphenidate, used to treat ADHD.

The background for the group's research is the medical treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders, which often has strongly varying results. The hypothesis is that a genetically targeted medicine will improve treatment results.
