Cattle: Phenomics

The focus of this team is on new phenotypes related to cattle breeding. This can be phenotypes related to e.g. feed efficiency, green-house gasses, fertility, milk infra-red spectra. The discussion in the team is centered on how to analyze the new phenotypes, as well as how these can be used both for breeding purposes and management purposes.

Due to the constitution of the team mainly new phenotypes related to cattle breeding are discussed. However, new phenotypes related to other species can also be discussed.

Furthermore, the team will also investigate the possibilities for new projects in this area.
