Fabio completed his PhD studies at North Carolina State University under the mentorship of Dr. Trudy Mackay, in collaboration with Drs. Peter Sørensen and Daniel Sorensen from the Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics (QGG) at Aarhus University. As part of this collaboration, Fabio spent a total of 5 months at QGG/GenSAP.
